Create Dashboards

Dashboards show the visualizations that you have created in Analytical Designer. Because they allow filtering and other adjustments, they function as a dynamic presentation layer for your data analytics.

Create a Dashboard

On the workspace toolbar, click Dashboards, then click Add dashboard to start creating a new dashboard.

To name the dashboard, click Untitled at the top and fill in a name.

You can change the dashboard’s name later. For details, see Rename a Dashboard.

Share a Dashboard

Newly created dashboards are private. To share you dashboards with other users, see Share Dashboards.

Edit a Dashboard

Select the dashboard that you want to edit from the list of dashboards and click Edit.

Rename a Dashboard

You can rename any dashboard at any time without affecting its visualizations, or the dashboard ID.

Steps:

1. On the workspace toolbar, click Dashboards.
2. Select your dashboard from the list of dashboards.
3. Click Edit.
4. Click the dashboard name and edit it.
5. Click anywhere outside of the name text box.
6. Click Save & Publish.

Delete a Dashboard

You can delete your dashboards anytime. 

Deleting a dashboard does not delete the visualizations the dashboard is built from.

Steps:

1. On the workspace toolbar, click Dashboards.

2. Select your dashboard from the list of dashboards.

3. Click Edit.

4. Click Delete and confirm.

   The dashboard is deleted.
