Connect Data
Connect your data to GoodData.
Before you can start running analytical queries on data stored in a database, you have to connect the database to your workspace in GoodData. You do this by creating a data source for one of the supported databases listed below.
Note that GoodData also supports connecting your data via AWS PrivateLink.
Supported Databases
GoodData supports connections to the following databases:

- Amazon Redshift
- Google BigQuery
- PostgreSQL
- Vertica
- Microsoft SQL Server
- Azure SQL
- Synapse SQL
- Databricks
- Greenplum
- ClickHouse
- MySQL
- MariaDB
- Oracle Database
- Amazon Aurora

As a beta feature, GoodData also support connections to the following data source managers, which will in turn let you connect to even more types of databases:
Please note that regardless of which database you connect to, we only support data types listed in this Supported Data Types table.
